Analyzing differences amoung Copolymer Acetal and Homopolymer Acetal in Sheet and Rods

Homopolymer Acetal or Delrin is a great plastic for turning on a lathe lathe. It’s very easy to turn, however it does require slower speeds. I have used this stuff to make Scottish small pipes chanters. I have bought numerous items from Industrial Plastic. Smaller pieces always ship quickly and everything has been well packed. I have never had an issue with an order.
Between the Delrin and Acetal rods, both materials are very durable and easily machinable, and they have similar physical properties. They do look the same, but for practical use there are some differences that may make one better than the other. It also depends heavily on your application.
